This quaint and very clean hostel is a great option for anyone in the area trying to save a few bucks while visiting this beautiful region. I would definitely recommend this hostel to any of my friends or family!

Nice place good price, compared to the alternatives. Has own kitchen. Common room with music, board games and tv. Had a privat room. Double bed was okay

This hostel is do clean it makes me feel like I'm at home. The staff is extremely friendly and they are great people I would recommend white mountain host to all of my friends and relatives.

Clean hostel that's well kept. I've used it many times. The kitchen is currently closed because of Covid but there is still a refrigerator if you need to store food. The rooms could use fans though.

Stayed during ice fest. Was a great atmosphere with climbers from all over telling stories. Bed was comfortable. Facilities were clean. Cannot beat the price.

I've stayed at the white mountains hostel twice and had great experiences both times. The first time I was participating in a wilderness first aid course at SOLO and the second with my wife. Tim is a great host, very friendly and knowledgeable and the location is perfect for checking out all the white mountains and the towns of conway and North Conway. I would highly recommend this hostel for anyone planning a trip to the whites.

It's a great place to stay in the white mountains, close to shops,restaurants, trails, and supermarkets. It's unique and decorated with paintings and many vintage records and a phonograph. The backyard is green and big. It's a place to meet cool people and for reflective and relaxing time.

Two things that could be improved: 1) Please bring back the composting option! I had to pack out my food waste. 2) The streetlight outside the windows was very bright at night and the blinds did not block out enough light. Maybe add curtains or other shades, or redesign the parking lot lights so that there's not a lot of light pollution leaking upwards. Other than that, enjoyed my stay very much, kitchen was well stocked and had enough room for 4 people to be cooking at the same time. Private room was nice and quiet.

Affordable, clean, well located. Kitchen was large with two ovens and two fridges. Spacious dining area with plenty of tables and chairs. We would have also enjoyed a living room space for relaxing on couch playing games, but the dining area was sufficient for this (and it looked like there was a cozy porch/patio that could be used in warmer weather) Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great first hostel experience for me! The rooms were clean and well appointed for the price. I had a female bunk. Your bunk is already made with a pillow in a pillow case, a top sheet, and fitted sheet, with a mid weight blanket at the foot of the bed. There are lockers to place your personal items in. There was a window air conditioner to use if needed. The bathroom was clean and had floor mats outside the two showers with a shared changing area. The hostel was relatively quiet on a Thursday evening in late summer. There was also free wifi. Check in and check out can be done without staff members present. There are shared living spaces available for the time of your stay. Towels are free and available downstairs. Make sure to do your part and strip your bed down and bring them to the laundry room after!
